211 Clover Lane originally opened in 1992 as a quaint-yet-elegant restaurant in the established Louisville neighborhood of St. Matthews. While the restaurant has maintained its name and original stylish ambience, it has evolved into a renowned city and regional destination for fine food.
Chef Allen Heintzman and owner Andrew Smith believe that the best food is locally grown. They make every effort to support local farmers and use their products whenever possible. The menu, therefore, changes daily to reflect the season and to showcase the finest in local ingredients. Fresh meat, fish, and poultry arrive at the restaurant daily.
Given that only the purest, freshest ingredients are used to prepare our dishes, Chef Heintzmanr’s philosophy of cooking is one of simple elegance, and his seasonal menu will conjure up the essence of both French and Italian techniques. The dinner menu is always well balanced, offering selections for meat-lovers, vegetarians, and the health-conscious alike. Lunch menus, featuring unique entrées, sandwiches, and soups, are equally versatile. 211 Clover Lane is considered by many to offer the finest Sunday brunch in town, and the exceptional wine list has been recognized in many national publications.

Tuesday – Saturday, 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM and 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Sunday, 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
We are closed on Mondays.
The restaurant is available for private parties and catered events can be arranged.
Reservations are suggested but not required.
